Cordless Electric Lawn Mowers: Why They're Much Better Than the Corded Ones
Are you looking for a lawn mower that runs on electric power yet one that saves you from handling its cord? Try the cordless type. Cordless electric lawn mowers relieve you from worrying about the cord. Plus, you get to do your share in saving the environment as well.
With the corded lawn mowers, your run time may be unlimited. However, you would have to risk running over the cord and be accidentally cut by the mower. This is truly dangerous and alarming! So why not be on the safer side and get the cordless electric mower? With cordless electric lawn mowers, you get more convenience. No need to worry about cords and the danger of tripping over.
However, the running time for this type of mowers can be limited. They run on batteries which need to be recharged after a couple of hours from running.
Most of the cordless electric lawn mowers are designed to cover only 1/3 acre of lawn. Quite a small area, this is why a lot of people do not recommend using this type for larger lawns. You'll run out of power before you can even go past a quarter of an acre.
This should not be a problem though because there is a solution to that. Light bulb! Purchase a model that comes with a removable battery and then secure an extra battery. This way you can have two batteries that are fully charged. If one battery has already been used up, then replace it with the other battery. Simple as that! Now you're ready to do another round of mowing.
Another solution for mowing large lawns is by doing half of the lawn in one day and then the other half the next day. This way you get to charge your battery overnight and be ready with your mower the following day.
Whether you have small or big lawns, a corded electric mower can run and cut your grass efficiently.
